Nowadays, both residential and commercial buildings need to install seismic supports, otherwise the completion acceptance of construction projects cannot be passed.

This is because the state has mandated the installation of seismic supports and has issued policies for many times.

The traditional support can only bear the vertical load, and the lateral swing is too large in the event of an earthquake, which is easy to damage the adjacent facilities, causing damage to the building electromechanical engineering system and increasing the difficulty of later maintenance.

The anti-seismic supports and hangers use the stability principle of triangle in the installation form, comprehensively bearing the longitudinal and transverse forces during the earthquake, and changing the dynamic characteristics of the pipeline system from flexible to rigid, which can not only make the equipment and pipelines more firm and reduce the secondary disasters caused by the earthquake, but also divide the anti-seismic supports and hangers into longitudinal and lateral supports and hangers, longitudinal and lateral supports and hangers from the stress direction.

When the building encounters an earthquake with fortification intensity, the seismic force generated by the pipeline and equipment is transmitted to the structure through the seismic support and hanger, so as to achieve the effect of no damage in small earthquake, repairable in medium earthquake and no collapse in large earthquake.

01. Installation dimension and type description of seismic support

The anti-seismic support usually has high strength, but it can only have a good effect if it is reliably connected with the main body of the structure. Therefore, when installing, first determine the support position line according to the design elevation of the supported object, then confirm the specific position according to the designed spacing, and then install it.

When welding treatment is required, the weld shall be full and free of slag inclusion. In addition to the part buried in the base course, attention shall be paid to the timely use of anti rust paint for protection treatment.

If it needs to be installed on the column, it should pay attention to the construction methods such as embedded steel plate connection method or embedded bolt method to ensure that the seismic support can be firmly installed on the column.

The size and type of the prepared installation shall be consistent with the actual situation on site. The holes on the support shall be drilled by drilling machine instead of electric or gas welding.

The hole diameter of the upper hole should be one or two millimeters larger than the diameter of the threaded bolt. If there are flash burrs on the seismic support, it should be polished off in time, and the end should be chamfered.

02. Layout principle of integrated support

1) Big tube is preferred. Due to large cross-section and large diameter pipes, such as air conditioning ventilation pipes, drainage pipes, cooling water pipes, smoke exhaust pipes, etc., occupy a large space. Make layout first in the plan.

2) Strong and weak current are set separately. Since weak current lines such as telecommunications, cable television, computer networks and other building intelligent lines are vulnerable to electromagnetic interference from strong current lines, strong current lines and weak current lines should not be laid in the same cable trough.

3) Pressure gives way to no pressure. It refers to pressure pipeline and non pressure pipeline. Non pressure pipelines, such as domestic sewage, fecal sewage drainage pipes, rain drainage pipes, condensate drainage pipes, etc., all rely on gravity drainage. Therefore, a certain slope should be maintained in the horizontal pipe section, which is a necessary and sufficient condition for smooth drainage. Therefore, when crossing with pressure pipelines, pressure pipelines should be avoided.

4) The electricity shall avoid heat and water. Electrical lines should not be arranged above hot water pipes, steam pipes and vertically below water pipes.

In the actual project, based on the design requirements of comprehensive supports and hangers, the key of its construction technology is to be familiar with the characteristics of various professional pipelines, based on the construction specifications, acceptance standards and operating procedures, and considering the convenience of operation and maintenance, so as to achieve reasonable layout, neat and beautiful without affecting the quality and function of various professional projects.

03. How to accept the completed seismic supports and hangers?

After a project is completed, acceptance is a key step in the follow-up work, and the inspection of seismic supports and hangers inside the building is also very important.

If there is no installation position for the seismic support and hanger, it will have a great impact on the stability of the pipeline inside the building. What should we do during the acceptance?

First of all, we need to know that the installation of these supports and hangers is designed in advance, and the construction drawings will be drawn in advance before installation, so what we need to do is to go to the site to compare whether the positions of the installed supports and hangers are consistent with those on the construction drawings.

The second is to check whether the anti-seismic supports and hangers are firmly fixed. If the installed quantity is not a lot, try to check one by one. If the quantity is relatively large, then check at random.

During the inspection, it can be detected by shaking with your hand. If it is not fixed, there will be obvious shaking movement. Then check whether the model of the product is specified by yourself. After these things are done, the acceptance can be basically completed.
